Our Story

Having studied Architecture and Urban Design at Columbia University and with nearly 20 years of experience at top-tier New York City architecture and urban design firms, BLOCK x BLOCK Architecture was established with a dream of delivering a high level of service in design and construction administration to his local community in the Hudson Valley.

With a wide range of previous experience that includes everything from community master planning, base building renovation and repositioning, to residential and corporate workplace interiors and commercial kitchens, we possess a level of technical expertise that is applied to every project, regardless of scale. Services include full commercial and residential architecture and interior design, urban design and master planning.

We would be delighted to work with you on a “traditional” architect-client-contractor basis, or we are also capable of teaming up on a “fast track” design-build basis which involves more direct collaboration with the contractor team to expedite the design and construction process.
